Class Information
What does the course cover?
Participants will leave the course with a working knowledge of how to handle various medical emergencies including CPR, asthma, allergies, choking, seizures, shock, diabetes, bleeding control, animal bites, stings, frost bite, heat exhaustion, and more.  Time will also be devoted to discussing baby and childproofing, cleaning procedures for medical equipment, preparing first aid kits, and injury prevention.

What certification is earned?
Upon completion of the class, participants will receive a CPR/First Aid certification card issued in their name from the American Heart Association.  The card is valid for TWO years.  A separate certification will be issued for Standard Precautions and only valid for 1 year.

When can private classes be scheduled?
Private classes, for groups of eight or more, can be scheduled to suit your needs: week days, week nights, weekends, or even broken up over the course of two sessions.
